Conflicts of interest and political correctness. Reflections for doctors in morally weak times

Abstract

In medicine, interests opposed to the higher values that support its practice oen immerse us in ethical challenges that we must face: Among such interests, those of a political, economic and media nature stand out. In this essay three cases of historical relevance are presented and discussed and the moral questions concerning each one are analyzed.
