Conocimiento, actitudes y prácticas de los padres de familia sobre salud dental frente al COVID-19: Un estudio bibliométrico

Objetivo: Analizar la producción científica relacionada al conocimiento, actitudes y prácticas sobre salud dental de los padres de familia frente al COVID-19.
Métodos: Se realizo un análisis bibliométrico en la base de datos científica de Web of Science.
Resultados: Se analizaron 6 documentos publicados en revistas de alto impacto (Q1, Q2, Q3) identificando los países, revistas, instituciones mayormente productivas, índices de colaboración y coocurrencias de palabra claves.
Conclusión: La escaza producción registrada en Web of Science sobre la temática de estudio, promueve oportunidades para realizar investigaciones futuras adaptadas al contexto de diferentes países y culturas, además, los documentos establecen que la mayoría de los padres de familia desconocían sobre la transmisión por contacto cercano con pacientes asintomáticos y el riesgo durante las prácticas odontológicas, acogiendo prácticas de automedicación de medicinas prescritas, actitudes que incidieron en la decisión de llevar o no a sus hijos para la consulta odontológica.
