Resumen
This study aimed to review scientific literature on the impact of psychomotor development on learning in preschool and elementary school children. The methodology employed was a systematic review of studies from the past five years, utilizing the PRISMA system and drawing on the PubMed, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, and Scopus databases. The keywords used were psychomotor development, learning, cognition, and preschool and elementary school children. The sample consisted of 33 scientific articles that met the inclusion criteria. The most significant findings revealed that incorporating psychomotor skills into early childhood education, combined with a balanced use of technology, can provide an effective approach for the holistic development of children, preparing them to face the challenges of a rapidly transforming world.
