Resumen

Introduction: Overnutrition, such as obesity and overweight in adolescents in urban settings, is one of the most serious health problems in the 21st century. Several lifestyle factors cause the problem of overnutrition experienced by adolescents. This research aims to analyze the relationship between internet addiction, barriers to active school transport, and the incidence of overnutrition in adolescents in urban areas. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design. Respondents were 231 adolescents in senior high schools in Surabaya, Indonesia, who were selected using proportional stratified random sampling techniques.
