Authors

Abstract

The music industry has expanded to exorbitant levels and as an example of this we can see what is happening in the music industry of the media (cinema, radio, television, video games, among others). Understanding that music, currently, has an important weight, through this writing we have wanted to expose brief guidelines on how the process of creating and adapting audio for video games is, based on personal experiences and those of other musicians who have studied the theme. Also, the process of adaptability of music with the image is addressed -understood as interactive sound-, since it is the composer's starting point and the fundamental key that allows the connection between the player and the digital medium. Finally, guiding examples are shown for composers and producers as well as for development managers, programmers, and artists.
