Evaluación, diagnóstico y propuesta para la optimización del sistema de abastecimiento de agua potable del sector Guaremal, Municipio Guaicaipuro, estado Miranda

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se realizó una evaluación técnica del sistema de abastecimiento de agua correspondiente a la estación de bombeo La Matica, específicamente del Grupo 1, y mediante el diagnostico establecer la propuesta que optimice el servicio de distribución de agua del sector Guaremal. Para ello se analizó la situación en que se encuentra y se verificó la necesidad de realizar una nueva configuración de la mencionada estación. Para llevar a cabo este estudio se censo la cantidad de habitantes actualmente servidos y la dotación diaria por habitante (establecido por norma), se determinaron las características y el estado en que se encuentra el sistema de bombeo al igual que el comportamiento de la red de distribución. Adicionalmente, se tomaron en cuenta otros aspectos como la necesidad a futuro (considerando el crecimiento poblacional) y las necesidades de potencia requerida por el sistema. Se presentó, entonces, una propuesta de solución en la cual se definió, diseñó y cuantificó una nueva configuración de la estación con un nuevo sistema de bombeo (exclusivo para el sector), tomando en consideración un período de diseño de 20 años, el crecimiento poblacional en la zona abastecida, la dotación diaria por habitante, las condiciones de operación a las que estará sometido el sistema de bombeo, el aumento de la rugosidad en el tiempo y la capacidad actual de la estación, entre otros. Finalmente, se determinaron las características del sistema de succión y descarga, el número de unidades de bombeo y su capacidad, el sistema eléctrico y se verificaron los efectos del golpe de ariete en caso de falla del suministro eléctrico. La propuesta incluye un estudio económico asociado a la inversión necesaria para llevar a cabo esta solución, así como los cambios requeridos en el sistema interno de distribución de Guaremal.

In the present work a technical evaluation of the system of water supply was realised corresponding to the pumping station the Matica, specifically of Group 1, and by means of the diagnosis to establish the proposal that optimizesthe service of water distribution of the Guaremal sector. For it the situation was analyzed in which it is and the necessity was verified to realise a new configuration of the mentioned station. In order to carry out this study census the amount of inhabitants at the moment served and daily grant by inhabitant (established by norm), the characteristics and the state were determined in which is the pumping system like the behavior of the distribution network. Additionally, other aspects like the necessity to future (considering the growth population) andthe needs of power required by the system were taken into account. One appeared, then, a proposal of solution in which it was defined, designed and quantified a new configuration of the station with a new system of pumping (exclusive for the sector), considering a period from design from 20 years, the population growth in the supplied zone, daily grant by inhabitant, theconditions of operation which the pumping system will be put under, the increase of the rugosidad in the time and the present capacity of the station, among others. Finally, the characteristics of the suction system were determined and unloading, the number of pumping units and its capacity, the electrical system and verified the effects of the water hammer in case of fault of the electrical provision. The proposal includes an associate economic study to the investment necessary to carry out this solution, as well as the changes required in the internal system of distribution of Guaremal.
