Movilidad humana en la teoría social clásica

Abstract

La movilidad humana ha sido un fenómeno histórico representado en vivencias de distintas épocas y latitudes. Si bien en la contemporaneidad es posible localizar al respecto interpretaciones sociológicas elaboradas, el tema ha sido tratado de igual forma en la teoría social clásica. Este artículo explora la movilidad humana en los clásicos de la sociología a través de una metodología documental y desde una perspectiva filosófica-sociológica. Se inicia con una breve disertación sobre la sociología comprensiva de Max Weber, dando paso a la mutación de la movilidad humana dentro de la tradición de las teorías sociales modernas. Después, se evalúan algunos aspectos brindados por Alfred Schütz a propósito de la figura del forastero, que envuelve algunas de las diatribas que, en un nivel cualitativo, representan los dilemas de las personas que se encuentra dentro del fenómeno de movilidad humana en la actualidad. A continuación se explora la movilidad humana en el pensamiento de Simmel y la dupla Marx-Engels. Se aborda la vitalidad y la experiencia como interpelaciones determinantes en Simmel para luego comprender con Marx y Engels la movilidad desde las imposiciones del capitalismo y la importancia rectora de la tierra. Se concluye que la diversidad teórica expuesta no presenta un enredo conceptual disciplinario. Al contrario, expresa a) el carácter iniciático de la teoría, y b) la pluralidad de lo social. Abstract Human mobility has been a historical phenomenon represented in experiences of different times and latitudes. Although in contemporary times it is possible to locate elaborated sociological interpretations in this regard, the matter has been treated in the same way in classical social theory. The objective of the following article is to explore human mobility in the classics of sociology through a documentary methodology and from a philosophical-sociological perspective. It begins with a brief dissertation on the comprehensive sociology of Max Weber, giving way to the mutation of human mobility within the tradition of modern social theories. Subsequently, some aspects offered by Alfred Schütz regarding the figure of the stranger are evaluated, a figure that involves some of the diatribes that, on a qualitative level, represent the dilemmas of the people who are currently within the phenomenon of human mobility. Next, human mobility is explored in the thought of Simmel and the Marx-Engels duo. Vitality and experience are addressed as determining questions in Simmel to later understand with Marx & Engels the mobility from the impositions of capitalism and the guiding importance of the land. It is concluded that the theoretical diversity exposed does not present a disciplinary conceptual entanglement. On the contrary, it expresses a) the initiatory character of the theory b) the plurality of the social.
